Post: Lunchtime Supervisor
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Range SCP3 – SCP4 £2,672.90 - £2,717.22 pro rata salary – actual salary (£22,737-23,114) salary to be pro rata
Working Type: 5 hours per week, 38 weeks + 2 days
Base: Norton Primary Academy, Berkshire Road, Norton, Stockton on Tees, TS20 2RD
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Northern Education Trust, Norton Primary Academy are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Ensure that pupils wash their hands before they eat
- Escort pupils to and from the dinner area, as necessary
- Ensure that pupils having a school lunch are in the dining hall at the correct time
- Help younger pupils at the serving counter with the proper use of cutlery, and help them cut up their food when necessary
- Assist pupils with the return of used plates, trays, cutlery and beakers etc.
- Assist with the cleaning of tables when lunch is finished
- Supervise pupils eating food brought from home, and ensure that all packed-lunch equipment is cleared away after use
- Report to the PA to Principal/Office Manager any child whose diet may give rise for concern
