Rock + Raw was founded by Lucy 9 years ago, it has been through various iterations in its time. Now is an exciting moment in the company's history. Following a downsizing, this is a moment of growth. Starting (almost!) from scratch we are looking to build our dream team.
This means you will have the opportunity to join a tiny team of fresh recruits who are ready to grow something new. As team manager, you will report directly to our CEO and Founder. This is a four days a week role with flexible/room for growth dependant on the successful candidate.

Your Mission
We are looking for an exceptional and experienced business manager with a growth mindset and a passion for managing people and delivering projects.
Responsibilities
Team Management
- Guide and support the team to achieve the objectives of the business.
- Monitor the workloads of your direct reports to achieve results for the business.
- Build a strong environment of collaboration, accountability, and ensure continuous improvement within the team.
- Manage direct 2/3 reports on a weekly basis ensuring that each team member achieves their objectives.
- Support people’s development and personal ambitions.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve individuals' contribution to the business.
Revenue and Growth:
- Create and implement quarterly sales plans.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and market share throughout the year by analysing data, identifying opportunities and implementing effective strategies for pricing, promotions and product assortment.
- Lead the strategic growth of the business.
- Oversee business relationships, including partnerships and stockists.
- Oversee audience growth strategy, including Influencer Marketing, Brand Partnerships & PR.
- Some light website management possible, e.g. editing content, adding blog posts, etc
Fulfillment:
- Oversee and guide the company's fulfillment operations, delivering best-in-class operational performance.
- Delivering business goals through efficient operational plans, and proactively addressing risks and opportunities.
- Manage and optimise supplier relationships in order to achieve the revenue goals of the business.
About You:
- Several years experience managing a team member/multiple team members.
- A dedicated people manager, able to juggle multiple priorities with attention to detail and you will feel a sense of independent ownership within your work.
- Naturally ambitious and a high performer.
- A proven ability to create and implement sales plans.
- A genuine passion for managing people.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter who is keen to work independently.
- Keen to get stuck into all areas of the business.
- Some operational knowledge is desired
- Knowledge of Shopify, website management is desired
- Knowledge of Mailchimp is desired
- Experience in a fast-growing product-based business is desired
