Job description
Teaching Assistant - St Helens.
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to work within a Primary School in St Helens. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to use the experience they have to flourish within a supportive school environment. Equally this role would appeal to someone with experience in a non-school setting such as residential support, Youth work, Nursery and many more.
The role will predominantly be working within KS2, supporting the Children in a mixed Y5/6 class.
The role will include taking small groups of Children to deliver planned interventions.
The Children you will be supporting, maybe working at a level below than expected.
Contract/Position Details:
The ideal candidate for this role would be a capable and experienced Teaching Assistant that can respond proactively to requirements within in the classroom. A relevant teaching assistant qualification would be desirable. The candidate must be confident within the classroom and be able to identify where help is needed. You will need to be calm and positive when interacting with pupils.
Experience and qualifications:
This would be the ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to gain some more experience as a Teaching Assistant and who has a keen interest in teaching and working with Children.
