Position: DT Teacher

Location: St Albans

We're looking for a highly experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join our clients schools team of excellent educators to support the department Teaching students from Year 7 upwards the subject with an empahsis on Resistent materials. The role is to begin after the Easter Holidays, and will be continued until the end of the Academic year, with potential for further extension. This timetable will also include some general cover as well.

Requirements

• A degree in design and technology or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ideal but not necessary
• Experience in teaching DT and or Art to students of varied ages and abilities.
• Strong knowledge of different approaches within the subject
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote a positive learning environment.
• Availability from Easter to the end of the Academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
