Job description

We are working with our client to recruit a junior Project Manager. The client is based and headquartered in France with offices in the UK . They provide its customers with very high added-value solutions, products, technologies and services across six principal Business Units, including Mining, Chemistry and Enrichment, Recycling, Decommissioning and Services, Nuclear Packages and Services, and Projects. These activities are of strategic importance to both the French nuclear sector and nuclear installations around the world, including in the United Kingdom (UK).

As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll ensure an effective project delivery, striving to achieve established goals and objectives to time, cost and quality. The Project Manager role will be undertaken by a SQEP resource allowing a single point of management contact with customer.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying needs that can be successfully addressed by projects
• Consult with the assigned Project Manager to seek guidance and input during the key phase of each project
• Implementing and maintaining effective integrated project execution strategies and plans
• Providing accurate and timely information and reports regarding the project status, activities and performance
• Liaising with customer Project Manager to create the overall strategy and subsequently plan delivery of the program and individual project packages in line with this
• Implementing and maintaining effective communication to the project team and stakeholders
• Identifying and monitoring project risks (threats and opportunities) and planning and implementing response to these and responding to other issues that affect the project

The role is based in Warrington, but will require regular travel to the other sites.

Full-time, permanent, 37-hours a week

Hybrid working – 2 days minimum in the office each week, flexible working
