Dispensing Optician or Optical Manager

Qualified or, about to qualify - newly qualified, or an experienced Manager..

What we’re looking for;

You’ll need to be a qualified GOC registered  Dispensing Optician or a Practice Manager  with the drive, passion, and the willingness to build an ongoing successful business. As part of the team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence, you’ll demonstrate good attention to detail, along with a passion for the community where you are working.

As a Dispensing Optician - you're a highly-skilled professional who will advise on, fitting and supplying the most appropriate glasses, taking into account each customer’s visual and lifestyle needs. Advising on lenses for night driving, UV protection, VDU/PC use, prescription sunglasses, low-vision aids, dry eye, sports and safety eyewear. And play an important role in advising and dispensing to customers, who are partially sighted, as well as to children, where appropriate.

As a Practice Manager - you will be able to do all the above, you may be looking to become qualified or you will be QBE (qualified by exp)!  You will be part of a nice business, helping your team to grow, involved with recruitment and training, this is a great opportunity, and you will lead from the front, helping your patients choose what's right for them.

Teamwork also forms a big part of your job, so the ability to work well with others is essential. Helping to mentor and train your colleagues will be required as and when, without knowing it - you'll probably find they'll be watching you and asking for advice..

 What’s on Offer?

An annual salary £31K  - bonus & benefits

Holiday allowance of 33 days per year . 

GOC & ABDO fees paid-for !  With a focus on flexibility, helpfulness, we are looking for full-time applicants and some flexi working pattern to suit you are available.
