Job description

As a Sales Manager that specialises in selling solutions, the opportunity to help improve the nation’s security will be your driving force. With access to a world class team of experts across Cyber, Data Science, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence; you’ll transform deep specialist knowledge into solutions that provide mission impact.

You might think you’ll be ending up in an environment that focuses on commodity sales; or forcing a product on to a market that doesn’t fit. Pile them high and sell them cheap…

You’ll be crafting solutions to solve problems that matter; working within a business that is passionate about supporting customer missions. Missions with purpose.
Roke is a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry 4.0. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges. 

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be able to understand client issues and articulate & shape Roke solutions to solve problems. These will be novel commercial models and hybrid solutions that bring together Roke technology, 3rd party products, engineering and support services in a manner that best supports our customers' missions. This will deliver the future of National Security, empowering the community as they work to keep our nation safe, secure and prosperous over the next decade and beyond.

Where you’ll work…  

Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.

You should also be comfortable with frequent visits to Roke’s customer sites, primarily in the London, Gloucester and Hampshire areas…

Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
