Job description
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team in the Information and Communication Technology industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our software applications through thorough testing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and product features.
- Develop test automation scripts using testing tools and software frameworks.
- Utilize appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies to facilitate testing processes.
- Analyze and report test results, defects, and issues to project stakeholders.
- Track and monitor the progress of the QA process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Stay abreast of latest industry trends, software testing tools, and methodologies to ensure the quality of the software application.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
- Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Experience in manual and automated testing techniques, methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficient in test case creation, execution, and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python) is a plus.
