The Opportunity :

We are currently looking for a Lecturer to join our School of Law, as part of our ongoing growth and development. The School of Law sits within the Faculty of Social Sciences and is part of a friendly, supportive academic community.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of our new LLB and LLM degree programmes which align with the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Candidates should be highly motivated and committed to creating inventive, excellent learning environments for all of our students and be able to contribute meaningfully to our extra curricular offer such as the Debate Club and Arden Consumer Advice Clinic etc.
About You:
You will be qualified to postgraduate level in English Law. A PhD in Law and/or legal practice experience is welcome but not essential.
Ideally, you will hold FHEA or an equivalent teaching qualification. However, we are prepared to support the successful candidate in obtaining a recognised HE teaching Qualification and Advance HE Fellowship at the appropriate level.
You will need to have experience of supporting curriculum development in higher education, as well as teaching across Levels 4 - 7.
