Job Title: PMO Lead

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location: Warwick/Hybrid (once to twice per week in the office)

Salary: £475-£525 per day via Umbrella

Our client, a leading company in the utilities industry, is seeking a talented and experienced PMO Lead to join their dynamic team in Warwick on a hybrid basis. As the PMO Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of projects and ensuring effective governance across the organisation.

Job Purpose:

Lead on the embedding of a defined delivery control framework across Lands and Consents. Champion the new ways of working and support team members in adapting to the change. Act as an advocate for the delivery framework and support wider roll out across the key projects in collaboration with the PMO.

Key Accountabilities:
* Roll out tools relating to typical PMO functions such as issue management, risk management, financial reporting, supplier tracking, contracts and commercials. stakeholder management, quality reporting and progress tracking.
* Define and capture robust processes relating to the control areas to support embedding and future onboarding.
* Provide regular communications and updates on status, blockers and mitigations.
* Drive standardisation of process, quality and cost transparency, where appropriate.
* Take accountability of the cadence of governance - to be defined.
* Ensure standard governance processes are executed in the project and workstreams.
* Ensure deliverables, artefacts and outputs are tracked, stored and executed against.
* Provide hands-on administration support to leadership where required.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:

* Proven work experience as a Project Management Officer
* Strong coordination skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to details and technicalities
* Excellent organisational and technical abilities
* Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
* Focus on details, error less delivery, logical reasoning
* Searching for solutions not offenders
* A strong team player, proven team leadership potential
* Willing to step out of own comfort zone
* Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly
* Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint is an advantage
* Knowledge of PowerBI is an advantage
* Change management experience is an advantage
* Experience of matrix management of resources
