Do you have experience working with children whilst also having a degree qualification? Here at Tick Education LTD, you would be an ‘instructor’ were we can find you work as an unqualified teacher, who can lead classes in a teacher’s absence whilst being able to mark work and also plan lessons if required.
The ‘instructor’ role is the ultimate teaching role for candidates who aren’t fully qualified teachers but want the responsibility of a full teachers role!

Requirements to be an ‘instructor’ in Luton:
• Must have experience leading children, either teaching or in a qualifying non-school setting
• Must hold a degree qualification in a teachable subject recognised by schools in the UK. For any overseas earned qualifications you would be required to get an ENIC conversion here in the UK.
• Having a passion for teaching and improving the lives of children
• Be available during school hours which is typically 8.30 – 3.30
• Have an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate or be prepared to get one
Responsibilities of an ‘instructor’:
• To provide thorough teaching to classes in a teachers absence
• When required, mark children’s completed work
• When required to, plan lessons in line with the current UK curriculum
• Ensure the safety of all children and be an excellent role model
