Role: Special Education Teaching Assistant
Contract: Temp/Permanent
Location: Coventry to Birmingham
Hours: 8am to 4pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm
Pay: TBC
Job Description:

Are you a passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism and learning difficulties, my client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to their team.

-Develop and implement individualised education programs (IEPs) for students with autism.
-Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
-Utilise evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
-Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and development.
-Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed.
-Foster social and emotional skills development through positive reinforcement and behaviour management techniques.
-Stay abreast of best practices and research in the field of special education, particularly in autism and learning disabilities.

Having a passion to work with students to ensure they are receiving the best quality of education, having the desire to support and connect with students.

Must have:
UK Driving License and have own car
Must have good written and spoken English
A genuine desire to work with students with Autism and supporting them throughout
