A review of organisational structures has recently been completed with a focus on prioritising the delivery of high quality, customer focused services, which will deliver for the Borough both now and into the future.
In order to lead the delivery of excellent front-line services, the Council is seeking to recruit a Head of Department: Health and Recreation.
In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Health and Recreation Department, delivering on a significant improvement programme and continuous improvement of service delivery to enhance the customer experience. You will manage all of the Council’s indoor leisure and recreation facilities, including the state of the art South Lake Leisure Centre, and will lead a programme of transformational change and manage new capital projects.
