Day shift Maintenance Engineer

Our Client in the Craigavon area have a requirement for a Maintenance engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Call Conor O’Hagan for more details.

Excellent Salary and Overtime rates available - (1.5 and Double time )

Monday – Friday Day shift

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Super visor and indirectly to the Plant Manager and part of a small maintenance team, you will have responsibility for all reactive and preventative maintenance on site.

Duties include:

• Mechanical and electrical fault finding on all machinery.
• Ensure effective maintenance of all equipment and production lines.
• Develop maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment.
• Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation.
• Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with the company requirements.
• Analysis and reporting of Maintenance Management System in line with continuous improvement philosophy
• Assists with the organisation, inventory and housekeeping of maintenance stores and workshop.
• Proactively ordering maintenance spares as and when required
• All other engineering duties as and when required.

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:

• Time served maintenance engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical / electrical maintenance or mechatronic engineering
• Manufacturing / Factory experience
