What you'll do:
- Ensure the prompt and efficient preparation and service of all meals to the company’s standard and client’s satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the Unit to the required standard in the Service Level Agreement.
- Manage menu planning, rotas, orders, and receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of all meal services to the required high standard.
- Adhere to Company and Statutory Regulations related to safe and hygienic kitchen operation.
- Recruit, support, control, and discipline staff according to the needs of the unit.
- Assist in monitoring staff performance and providing training and coaching.
- Prepare all food with care, taking into consideration special dietary requirements.
- Organize and prepare special functions, sometimes outside normal working hours.
What you bring:
- Intermediate food hygiene certificate.
- IOSH managing safely or Sodexo equivalent.
- 706/2 or NVQ2 chef qualification, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in catering management.
- Experience managing a team in a corporate environment.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Experience delivering training using company guidelines.
- Computer literacy.
- Good standard of financial acumen.
