Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Luxury Vehicle/High Performance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on luxury vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications while exceeding customer expectations.
Pay rate - £35000 salary
Shift times - Monday - Friday - 9am-6pm
- Must be flexible to work overtime on Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on luxury vehicles, adhering to manufacturer specifications and exceeding customer expectations.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate repair estimates to customers.
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, and braking system repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including advanced features like infotainment systems and driver assistance technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and repair procedures specific to luxury car brands.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring proper tool and equipment usage.
- Document all repairs and service performed.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously, explaining repairs and answering questions clearly.
- May assist with road testing vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence.
- Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- T Level in Maintenance, Installation, and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing, Level 3 Diploma in Auto-Electrical and Mobile Electrical Operations.
- Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement.
- Excellent technical skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
