Job description
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with autism and complex needs in a vibrant SEND Primary School.

Role:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Salary - determined by experience (paid during term time.)
Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to students with autism and complex needs, aged 5-11 years, in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Assisting students with academic tasks, personal care, and social interactions, fostering their independence and confidence.
- Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans and interventions, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
- Previous experience within a school setting, demonstrating your passion for education and supporting students with special educational needs.
- A QTS or relevant teaching/education qualification, showcasing your commitment to inclusive education.
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude, essential for building trusting relationships with students and promoting their well-being.
