Senior Software Engineer
Edinburgh - hybrid

Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with a software solutions provider in Edinburgh who are working to provide digital tools that will accelerate the journey to net-zero. They are looking to hire a talented Senior Developer to join their small but growing team, to help develop their innovative software for the renewable energy industry.
In this role you will report to the Principal Engineer and work closely with the Product Manager. As a Senior Engineer you will be able to work independently as well as part of team, offering mentoring and coaching to junior engineers when required.
Essential Skills:
Highly proficient in C#, ASP.Net, MS SQL, REST APIs
Solid working knowledge of encryption and secure protocols
Proven track record in designing and delivering innovative and robust systems
Exposure to best design practises
Experienced in OO and SOA design and in-depth exposure to full software development lifecycle
Experience of Event-Driven Architectures
Exposure to AWS, like Lambdas, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch
Experience of Continuous delivery and DevOps with infrastructure-as-code
Qualifications and attainments:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
High level numeracy and literacy
