Reporting to the Sales Manager, the post holder will play a vital role in the growth of the business.
Working in a fast-paced environment as a member of the sales team, the post holder will meet the needs of existing clients and seek opportunities to extend our client base further. Processing a high volume of inbound sales calls, take orders, payments, and process sales. They will build strong customer relationships and maintain customer accounts which will include making outbound calls.
The role is demanding as well as rewarding and therefore requires flexibility, drive, and initiative.
Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from six locations - our main head office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Nottingham, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.
· Build positive relationships with potential new customers and lasting relationships with present customer base
· Processing orders
· Taking inbound calls and assisting with orders and enquiries
· Monitor your targets and KPIs to ensure these are being met
· Offering reliable product advice
· Promoting and upselling the company brand / products
· Sending out and chasing quotes
· Keeping records of customer interactions, customer accounts and filing associated documents
· Computer literate
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Able to remain calm in a fast paced, high pressure environment
· Good customer service skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
· Self motivated, with the ability to demonstrate initiative to contribute to the team’s success
· Flexible approach to working hours
· Driven, determined with a can-do attitude and positive approach.
· Effective interpersonal skills
· Able to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
· Able to quickly adapt to new systems, including in-house systems
· Keep up to date with new information and changes in departments
· Ability to seek out and identify potential future opportunities and upsell opportunities
· Projects confidence and enthusiasm
· Objection handling and securing business opportunities

Salary: Between £26,000 to £28,150 p.a.
Hours: 45 per week Monday to Friday between 07.00 - 18.00
