The Opportunity
- My client is looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to cover a patch of supported living properties across West Surrey, with a primary base in the Camberley area.
- Working hours between Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM – 37.5 hours per week. Senior Support Worker’s will manage their own caseload of clients and supervise staff as required, so there will be flexibility on these working hours.
- Competitive pay rate of £16.62 (PAYE), as well as a contribution of mileage expenses at £0.45 per mile for travel between services.
- This role is a vacancy cover, so whilst the contract is initially required for a 3-month period, it will likely be extended and considered for longer-term work and/or permanence.
The Requirements
- Senior Support Worker’s should have a full UK driving license, to accommodate travel to further afield services, as required.
- Senior Support Workers will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
- Prior working experience in people management or supervision for a minimum of 1-year.
- Working knowledge of housing and safeguarding legislation and how this may impact vulnerable clients.
- Working knowledge of welfare & benefits, support planning and risk assessments for clients.
