Job description

Our client is a medium sized accountancy practice located in Barnet who are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeping Supervisor to join their team. As our client is growing and developing, so too will this position offering career prospects for the right individual.

Candidates applying must have previously worked within an Accountancy Practice in order to be considered for this post.

Duties to include;

• Assisting with managing the deliverables of approximately 150 bookkeeping clients
• Bookkeeping services for clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS Returns
• Processing the annual CIS suffered reclaim for all clients who are not Gross Status
• Delegating work to an offshore team in India and reviewing their completed work
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts/information with the objective of providing completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for review

Key Skills:

• Previous work experience in an accountancy practice essential
• Previous work experience in the Construction and Property sectors would be beneficial
• Software experience, Xero & Sage – required, QuickBooks & CCH – beneficial
• AAT qualified however candidates qualified by experience will be considered for this role
• CIS experience – required
