£51,000 (+ shift allowance after probation pass)

Synergi are recruiting for a Utilities Engineer to join a leading FMCG/manufacturing company based in Kettering. We're in search of someone who can provide hands-on support to the production team as an integral part of the wider maintenance department. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and controlling site utilities including air compressors, refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, and water treatment plants
• Regular meter readings, checks, and analysis of all utilities according to service schedules
• Chemical stock level checks
• Managing, controlling, and operating the wastewater treatment plant and associated equipment
• Carrying out weekly, monthly, and quarterly PPM to site services plant, equipment, and processes

Requirements:

• Multi-skilled preferred or prepared to work towards (if electrical bias, 16/17th edition qualified)
• City & Guilds or NVQ 3 qualified in an engineering or maintenance discipline
• Knowledgeable about Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Experienced working with steam boilers, air compressors, and boiler water treatment
• Previous experience of managing wastewater treatment plants
• Working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards in a food environment
• At least 3 years in similar environment
• Nice-to-have: forklift trained
