Job description

Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31 bedded mental health rehabilitation and recovery (R&R) service for adults. We have 3 wards: Arley – 10 bedded female R&R
Elkin – 10 bedded male R&R
Millison – 11 bedded male R&R community facing ward Patients are accepted from all over the UK (although most patients are from local areas) and have a primary diagnosis of a Serious Mental Illness. We accept patients with additional complexities such as physical health conditions, substance misuse, and secondary mental health issues. Priory Hospital Solihull benefits from a stable and established MDT which includes the Medical team, OT, Psychology, Nurses, HCAs and Ward Managers. The hospital offers a range of assessments, treatments and interventions with a strong focus on patient collaboration in decision making and working with people in the least restrictive way. Job Profile The role of the Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) is to work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team, promote the best interests of our patients and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented. Our Registered Nurses are responsible for maintaining a safe care environment, exercising professional accountability and responsibility using professional skills, knowledge and expertise in changing environments and work within the scope of professional practice. Salary: Newly Registered Nurse: £31,500 (until preceptorship completed) Staff Nurse: £34,900 - £37,227 Senior Staff Nurse: £37,992 - £40,455 Enhancements: Benefits: #HC3 C We welcome visits from interested candidates to see if the service is right for them.
