Job description

A successful and well established independent practice is looking to recruit a Dispensing Optician to join their friendly team in Reigate.

The position is open to the right candidate who wants to be proactive and driven to help grow an already well established family run independent business.

Thhe ideal candidate is someone who wants to progress their career and take it to the next step

You will be based within a modern independent practice and become part of a friendly team of optical individuals.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and looking to learn and develop with a keen eye for detail, all levels of experience are welcome.

The practice is located in Reigate, which is very easily commutable and you will be expected to work full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Key Duties

• Work in a dispensing position with a strong knowledge of contact lenses including brands, correct application, and teaches
• You will be based within a modern practice and be expected to maintain the practices excellent reputation
• Be a positive team player who is passionate about patient care and who is keen to learn and develop
• Work with a variety of high end, top quality products such as Lindberg, LA Eye Works, Paul and Jo and many more
• Usual working hours are 9:30 -17:30 with occasional Saturdays required

• Very competitive salary up to 30,000 dependent on experience
• Bonus scheme which is a sales profits scheme and reviewed every 3 months

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC registered Dispensing Optician
• Previous experience within Optics essential
• Have the right to work in the UK
