Tidyco is a family run engineering company based in Derby since 1973 and looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our expanding team.

Job Description:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Industrial / Commercial Gas Engineer. This is a full time, permanent, position.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly in to the Climate Control Divisional Director, your main duties will include;

• Undertaking planned maintenance work.
• Completing reactive breakdown repairs.
• Installing Natural Gas, LPG and oil-fired appliances of the following;
  • Warm Air Heaters
  • Radiant Tube Heaters
  • Radiant Plaque Heaters
  • Boilers

Skills / Requirement:

• Previous experience in a Gas Engineer role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Hold the following Gas qualifications; COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A
• Oil & LPG qualifications preferred but not essential.
• PASMA
• IPAF
• Good IT skills.
• To be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Location:

Due to the nature of the role, this a field-based position and you must be willing to travel. Primarily you will be covering the Midlands area, however there will be times where you will be required to travel further, with occasional nights away from home, as per the business requirements.
