Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate Start Required

Pay Range: £70 - £90 per day

 
GSL Education is working with Primary Schools all around Lincolnshire and is currently looking to appoint  Teaching Assistant (Full Time)  to work with secondary aged children. The position is in  Grimsby,  and the selected candidate will start working immediately after selection.

As the ideal candidate you should

• Be aware of PECs and Makaton; previous experience of using both would be ideal.
• Be charismatic, pro-active and can use your own initiative.
• Have an  enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service  or be willing to make one.
• Have experience supporting children or young people with a range of additional needs.
• Be aware of the Secondary National Curriculum.
• Have training in Autism, Learning Difficulties, Behaviour, Team Teach or Moving and Handling would be a plus; If you don’t have these experiences, no worries, you still can apply.
