Job description

We are looking for a strong Financial Accountant with strong all-round experience, including exposure to the yearly audit, to join a privately owned IT Services Company as a Financial Accountant. Paying £65-68k, this position is based in Central London and is hybrid (2 days in the office and the remainder of the week at home). This is a newly created role, in a new team and there will therefore be a lot of scope to build models and templates.

The Role

• Support in the planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, publications, internal and external audits, and the Annual Report and Accounts within agreed timetables.
• Responsible for all overheads reporting, prepayments, accruals, analysis across the Group.
• Responsible for intercompany reconciliations, invoices, recharges and analysis
• Preparing the consolidated P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow.
• Assist in preparation of trial balances, management accounts and reporting for all entities.
• Delivery of the monthly close process, analysing transactions and preparing/posting required journals.

Your Profile

• All applicants will need to possess strong financial accounting experience but will also need extensive experience across all areas of finance- most importantly, the yearly audit.
• All applicants will ideally be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) however candidates who are qualified by experience are also welcome to apply.
