Production Supervisor Role
Location : Irlam
Salary : Exp: Up to £35,000 + Bonus + Progression Opportunities
Exciting Opportunity for a Production Supervisor in Irlam, Manchester working for a
global liquid handling equipment company.
Are you a skilled fitter looking to advance your career into a leadership role? We are actively recruiting for a " Hands-On " Production Supervisor to join a global liquid handling equipment company at their Irlam facility in Manchester .
We are seeking individuals which align with the following.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing and production processes
- Manage stock control procedures
- Develop and execute production schedules
- Collaborate with the Admin team on parts deliveries and product requirements
- Ensure compliance with factory procedures
- Communicate production challenges to senior management
- Monitor productivity, standards, and quality control
- Train and coach factory staff
- Enforce health and safety protocols
- Uphold company values
Requirements:
- Time served fitter
- Experience leading small teams (4+ individuals)
- Strong leadership skills in daily production/assembly processes of pumps and filters .
- Excellent communication abilities to mentor and develop team members
- Drive efficiencies while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Track record of implementing change initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Control practices
