The Role – Practice Manager at Angle House Highgate (N6 5JL)

This role is full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Build the practice from the ground up, establishing systems, policies, and procedures for smooth day-to-day operations
- Prepare the practice for opening, ensuring legal, CQC and NHS compliance
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a talented team of orthodontic professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Support the Practice Partner in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (for example CQC, NHS, RQIA, Health and Safety)
- Take line management responsibility for all employees within the practice including responsibility for motivation, objective-setting, training, recruitment and performance management
- Manage budgets, process the team's pay, negotiate contracts, and ensure the financial health of the practice for sustainable growth.
- Oversee patient experience, ensuring every step of their journey is flawless, welcoming, and focused on exceptional care.
- Embrace cutting-edge technology to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and optimize practice efficiency
- Implement smart marketing strategies to attract new patients and build a thriving brand in the community.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, coupled with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for building high-performing teams.
- Experience with compliance and health and safety in a clinical setting
- Minimum 2 years as a Practice Manager in a dental or orthodontic setting, ideally with experience in opening a new practice
- Comfort with dental practice management software and enthusiasm for embracing new technologies
