Teaching Personnel

Aged 11-19

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for the position of Future Teacher in South Wales. This is a temporary role, expected to work full-time hours. As a Future Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting experienced teachers in delivering high-quality education to students aged 11-19 in secondary schools. This role is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are considering a career in teaching and wish to gain valuable experience prior to pursuing a PGCE.

Key Duties:
- Supporting experienced teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Providing one-on-one support to students, including behaviour support when required
- Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure effective teaching and learning
- Degree in a relevant field
- GCSE or equivalent

A degree in a relevant field is required for this position.

Prior experience in an educational setting or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent classroom management abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Punctuality and timekeeping
- Ability to provide behaviour support when needed

Any additional qualifications or certifications related to education or teaching would be advantageous.

This position involves working in secondary schools in South Wales. The successful candidate will work full-time hours on a temporary basis. The role may require occasional flexibility in terms of working hours and responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
