Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a global FMCG business. They are looking to recruit a Senior Indirect Tax Manager, to join their London office.
The primary objective of the role is to ensure the efficient functioning of end-to-end VAT compliance and reporting processes, VAT advisory support and tax technology projects.
Role:
● Manage VAT compliance and reporting for the group
● Support across tax planning and strategy
● Manage a small team whilst reporting into the Head of Indirect Tax
● Take ownership of the HMRC relationship
● Help identify and implement improvements to indirect tax processes, including the delivery of automation projects and ensuring that indirect tax processes are properly documented and kept up to date
Qualifications:
● A tax accounting qualification (preferably ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA)
● Experience of managing both UK and global indirect tax compliance and accounting processes
