Sales/Office Support Consultant required to join a large wholesale distribution company on a permanent staff basis.
The role of Sales/Office Support Consultant is to form a key exponent of the Sales Team and maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential, and provide customers with projected quote values for any orders.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Providing sales support to Senior Sales Staff.
- Taking customer enquiries via telephone, fax or email, senior staff will support larger accounts.
- Using the customer enquiry information to effectively prepare a quote for the specified order, this will be mostly repeat ordersenquires.
- Sending the quote, as per customer requirements.
- Processing sales and purchase orders for lower value smaller accounts.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Helping with any administrative work including cover whilst colleagues are absent.
Job Requirements
- Education - Good level of general education.
- Skills - competent IT skills are required.
- Experience in a similar role essential within marine, service company and oil related sales.
