Job description

Senior Environmental Advisor Location: Bristol Contract: 6 Months Ongoing Rate: £445 /day UMB IR35 Determination: Inside We are working with a Leading rail contractor who are looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to oversee the works of the Environmental Team. This project will cover a major Marine works and will need support on all Environmental management and documentation, legal compliance and continual improvement. Experience Experience in undertaking environmental tasks and assess the risks, costs and impact on the wider community. Strong understanding of environmental legislation, impact mitigation and authority requirements. Strong communication between governing bodies and shareholders. Support the Technical Director of Ecology, Lead Ecologist, and local E&S Regional Manager. Key Accountabilities and objectives Highlight any environmental any financial risks to the project. Produce Environmental Documentation and Deliverables such as Construction Environmental Management Plan, aspects, and impacts registers. Further develop mitigation measures in relation to - Ecology - Pollution Control - Water environment - Noise and Vibration - Air Quality - Climate Change and Carbon - Resource sourcing and efficiency - Waste Management - Consents/permits / licensing. Ensure environmental compliance is held within method statements and associated documents.
