Materials Controller Permanent Salary is dependent on experience Mon – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm Derby Materials Controller Job Description - Coordinate the availability of materials for production orders, managing the submission of call-off orders and forecasts to suppliers, while maintaining effective communication with suppliers, goods in, and logistics teams.
- Oversee the phase-in and phase-out processes of new products, providing support to project buyers during handover status.
- Address invoice verification queries and troubleshoot any discrepancies in the production process.
- Assist and act on cross-plant initiatives associated with Material Supply Planning, overseeing tasks stemming from ECN processes.
- Liaising with different stakeholders (internal and external) including suppliers, logistics, goods-in, etc.
Materials Controller Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications - Experienced in using SAP
- Similar experience within a manufacturing environment
- Project Management experience would be desirable but not essential
