Job description
Risk, Insurance & Information Governance Officer Service Care Legal are currently working with a forward-thinking and progressive local authority, based in Greater Manchester, is seeking a RIIG Officer to support best in class Information Governance.
As the RIIG Officer, you will be responsible for providing information governance advice and guidance, as well as supporting business owners to produce Data Protection Impact Assessments and conducting data breach investigations.
ROLE: Risk, Insurance & Information Governance Officer
LOCATION: Greater Manchester - hybrid
RATE: £16 - £16.10
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 month rolling
About the Role Key Responsibilities - Provide information governance advice and guidance to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Support business owners to produce Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Conduct data breach investigations
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to information governance
Requirements - Proven experience in information governance
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Experience in conducting data breach investigations
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex information
