Job description
Overview: We're seeking an Edge Computing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize edge computing solutions for various applications, including IoT, real-time analytics, and distributed computing. You'll be responsible for architecting edge computing infrastructure, deploying edge nodes, and implementing edge applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect edge computing solutions to process data closer to its source, reducing latency and bandwidth usage.
- Develop edge computing infrastructure, including edge nodes, gateways, and communication protocols.
- Implement edge applications for real-time data processing, analytics, and decision-making.
- Optimize edge computing solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate edge computing into IoT, cloud, and enterprise systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in edge computing or distributed systems roles.
- Proficiency in edge computing frameworks and technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, TensorFlow Lite, AWS IoT Greengrass).
- Strong understanding of networking, data management, and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
