We are currently seeking an experienced ICT Systems Developer to join our IT team. As an ICT Systems Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our internal systems and applications to meet the changing needs of our organization.
Outline of Key responsibilities for the ICT Systems Developer...
- You will play a crucial role as an ICT Systems Developer , focusing on developing and supporting Microsoft platforms. Collaboration with our Business Improvement Team will be a key aspect of your work. Your mission is to enhance our organizational capabilities and propel our 'digital first' agenda forward. We are at an exciting juncture with the impending launch of our new Strategy, which will revolutionize our way of working. Therefore, adaptability and agility will be essential traits for you, as you work at pace and support others through this transformative period.
- In an agile team, you will hold a lead technical position and be responsible for developing the Microsoft Power Platform. As part of the ICT Team, we are seeking someone who thrives on solving diverse problems to ensure maximum performance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, your role will entail:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and the Business Improvement Team to identify and test innovative ideas and practices, both from within and outside of our sector. These innovations should have the potential to drive transformation, aligned with our new Strategy and Digital evolution journey.
- Delivering key strategic projects by adopting an agile development approach. You will be involved in development, implementation, and ongoing support, seamlessly transitioning projects into business-as-usual operations.
- Contributing to THG's overall efficiency, performance improvement, and social value. Your efforts will make a tangible difference in the lives of our customers, leaving a lasting impact.
- In this role, you will also be responsible for developing software solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal systems.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has…
- Proven experience working within an ICT development role
- Experience of developing and supporting the implementation of business system projects
- Able to demonstrate the ability to work and solve problems in an innovative manner
- Experience of working with Microsoft Power Platform Technologies
- Experience of working with others to deliver solutions at pace
- Experience of delivering projects using an agile and sprint-based approach
- Working with data protection policies

- Starting salary of £33,114.9
- Annual pay scale increase
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays
- Hybrid working 2 days a month in either Blackburn, Halifax, or Wakefield office.
