Support/Personal Assistant, Cambridge, CB2,
£11 to £14 per hour
We are parents of our son, 33, with Autism and learning difficulties looking for support. He suffers from Epilepsy for which he takes tablets. He is a very dynamic young man, loves going out and about. Currently he has got just one male carer, who takes him out to leisure centre regularly. In addition, he accompanies him to parks, cinema, bowling and any suitable outdoor activities. He regularly attends Cambridge Disability sports on Saturday mornings. He likes all ball games and at home can play Wii, Game Cube, online puzzles etc. N followed ABA programme based on positive behavioural intervention as a child and the approach still works for him.Therefore, we are looking for a person who can help engage him in activities as above and could drive him to places.
Flexible hours through the week and weekends along with current carer. Flexible hours up to 35-40 per week Pay - £11 to £14 per hour depending on type of employment DBS clearance is required
