Job description
Warehouse Operative with counterbalance forklift driving experience required for a logistics company in Bristol – BS11. This role involves working with air freight and therefore successful candidates will need to provide 5 years’ worth of references and consent to a criminal record check (DBS)
- £13 per hour
- Monday-Friday, 09:00 -17:30
- 1.5 miles from Avonmouth train station
- Ongoing, full time work
- Clean, ambient modern warehouse
About the job
- Receiving inbound stock, booking in and processing outbound orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift.
- Sorting and splitting freight according to customer requirements
- Using handheld scanners in the warehouse
- Lifting up to 25kgs
The right candidate
- Able to provide your address and employment history for the past 5 years, with no gaps longer than 28 days, and happy to consent to a DBS criminal record check
- Previous experience in a similar role – warehouse, forklift, production etc
- Basic IT skills – using excel, emails and warehouse management systems
- RTITB or ITSSAR accredited counterbalance forklift licence
