This well regarded US firm has everything in place to support a funds partner looking to set up a funds practice in London. In particular, the tax and regulatory support.
The firm has a highly valued culture and a strategy to build a funds practice in London. Their work in the US is well regarded and given the strength of the client base, there will be significant work opportunities for the incoming partner from the firms' clients. Your expertise can be on the GP side, LP side or both as long as you have the fund formation skill set and there will be work and client opportunities for both areas from within the firm.
In an ideal world the firm would like to bring in a team of maybe two or three partners plus assistants. Inevitably it will be very important for the incoming partner or team to have a following.
