An exciting opportunity to work at an amazing school located in Chesterfield has become available with us at Teaching Personnel! We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated classroom teacher that would fit this role perfectly. The ideal candidtae would be eager to start in April. The role would require someone who has the ability to work with both year 3 and 4. The school are looking for someone who is willing to contribute to wider school life i.e. extracurricular activities / discos / parents' events.

Role requirements and expectations:

• Hold a QTS or equivalent
• Have a genuine interest in child development and education
• Strong leadership skills
• Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude
• To work closely with the school to ensure expectations are understood and support can be given
• To have good behaviour management skills and confidently run lessons for classes of up to 30 students
• To be compassionate and have an understanding of SEN / EAL / additional needs and how to adapt within the classroom to ensure all pupils have an equal opportunity in their learning environment
• Have the ability to deliver pre-planned lessons - have an understanding of the national curriculum and how to promote learning and development in line with this

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
