Job description
I am working with a ‘Good’ school located High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Design and Technology to join this supportive and successful department, building upon the current high standards.
The position is to start in January 2024, full time on a Long Term contract with a view to go Permanent.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring, dynamic teacher with a passion for learning and have the vision to develop further in this popular and successful department.
You will have a good track record of excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress, with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for yourself and our school.
Design and Technology is an intriguing and fascinating subject. If you have the knowledge and are keen to share this with young people then this teaching role in a popular secondary school will be of great interest.
You must demonstrate:
* Experience of teaching Design & Technology successfully at secondary level
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Textiles, Food Tech and Product Design and Tech
* Flexibility, resilience and excellent organisational skills
* An ability to be a strong team player
* The ability to teach up to KS3-KS4
* QTS or QTLS
