Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently looking for a proactive Car/Van Driver to be based in Wisbech.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles, primarily cars and vans, to deliver goods and services to designated locations within the Wisbech area.- Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.- Carry out vehicle checks, including fuel and fluid levels, inspecting tires, and assessing overall roadworthiness.- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and speed limits to ensure road safety.- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.- Complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately, ensuring compliance with company procedures.- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required, following safe manual handling practices.- Report any vehicle faults or accidents promptly to the relevant authorities and the Line Manager.- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, reporting any maintenance issues to the Line Manager.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid UK driving license with no more than X penalty points.- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver, with a sound knowledge of driving regulations and areas in and around Wisbech.- Excellent navigational skills, with the ability to read maps and follow directions effectively.- Strong attention to detail and good organization skills.- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks if required.- Flexible availability, including occasional weekends and evenings, depending on business needs.Pay Rate: £10.65 - £10.92 per hourTo apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete our online application form.
