What you'll be doing

We're looking for a visionary and tenacious Station Development Manager to join the Estates team who will lead on the development of our managed stations and their environments for commercial, operational and social benefit.

The role will be responsible for the direct management of our appointed Property Management Agents. You will be confident and knowledgeable in Commercial Property matters including the areas of Landlord & Tenant, Agency, Management and Development.

You will take the lead in managing lease events, opportunities for bringing vacant space back into beneficial use and generally maximizing revenue opportunities. Equally important, you will ensure the tenant mix at our Stations reflects our values and the communities we serve along our route, together with an excellent customer service offer.

 What you'll need.

As a pivotal role, you'll already have experience of the property development planning processes, including planning permissions and consents, marketing and pricing strategies, brands and customer propositions to drive commercial success. You'll also need to demonstrate the following:

Whilst previous rail experience is not essential, you will be skilled in managing internal and external stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance in the successful delivery of projects that meet LNER business and safety standards.
