Production Shift Manager
Location: Partington, Manchester M31 4QN.
Salary: £40k with an additional night rate of £1/hour. Annual salary review is in July.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Shifts: Sun-Thursday 22:00-06:30.
Benefits: Bonus that will be related to the company performance, site performance and personal objectives.
Company pension which pays 4.5% employer vs 4.5% employee, unless you opt out. Overtime available which is x1.5 from Sunday – Thursday or x2 on a Saturday.

Production Shift Manager – About the role
We are now recruiting for a Production Shift Manager to lead an operations team to ensure that the plant consistently operates at the required level, through the effective planning and coordination of all onsite activity, in line with the KPI and financial expectations. Working closely with other leadership members you will fulfil all of the supplier/customer requirements, and understand, evaluate and report on plant performance, proposing actions to be taken to address any constraints and improve performance.
Responsibilities:
• The safe and compliant fulfilment of all operational activity and in line with Company policies, procedures and expectations
• Effective and transparent KPI reporting to monitor and improve safety, quality and performance, including quality recruitment and training.
• Lead and develop the team to safely deliver the plant productivity and quality requirements.
• Lead the Optimisation of the day-to-day operational business with specific attention to QHSE, costs, maintenance, downtime and resource attrition.
• Establish and maintain documented and standardised ways of working.
• Embed a customer focused continuous improvement culture within production and maintenance.
• Support the development of new technology/machinery implementation
• Implementation of Continuous Improvement to productivity and resource coordination to optimise costs.
• Other duties as reasonable required from time to time
• Application of Group Equal Opportunities, QHSE and local policies and procedures
• Contribute to the annual master plan and production strategy, supporting the overall business needs.
• Production resource planning and reporting in line with SNUK requirements.
• Production KPI /reporting
• Strive for continuous improvement and quality production, minimising cost and maximising financial benefits to Saica Natur UK
• Audit and verify that the production team is fulfilling their roles and responsibility, and hold 121 formal feedback sessions.
• Maintain, develop and progress the LTO for all the operational personnel.
