Safeguarding Administrator
Pertemps are seeking an experience Administrator in Wellington, Telford, to join our clients BeSafe Team, to assist with the management of Safeguarding and Prevent with the employer. Working within a high confidential environment, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a caring nature with a flexible approach to your work.
Hours 37hrs pw. Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
Term time only – 43 weeks
Salary £12ph
Temporary – potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities not limited to: - Work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Officers, DDSL and DSL to maintain confidential and accurate record of all disclosures and actions via CPOMS.
- Ensure CPOMS entries are actioned appropriately and timely.
- Work in collaboration with relevant learner managers, teachers, and staff across all college departments to ensure CPOMS information is up to date and is being actioned in a timely manner.
- Be compliant with GDPR/ Data Protection Act arrangements and Confidentiality.
- Minute taking and uploading to CPOMS.
- Liaise with parents/carers, students, and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional and effective manner.
- Have knowledge of the support available to effectively signpost students following BeSafe intervention.
- Support with the administration of the transition processes.
- Collate and review Health Declarations for new students and provide actions for Learning Support Coordinators to enable Risk Assessments and learning plans to be put into place.
- Undertake proactive development and implementation of administrative processes.
- Clerical duties such as attending, and taking notes at meetings, preparing, and sending letters to students and parents, arranging meetings, and managing the diary.
- Help at functions such as Open Evenings and Enrolment.
- Invigilate exams and tests as required.
Ideal Candidate
- A strong administrator with a minimum of three years’ experience.
- Experience using CPOMS would be advantageous, however not essential.
- Knowledge of GDPR/ Data Protection Act arrangements and Confidentiality knowledge and understands the importance of confidentiality.
- The ability to deal calmly and effectively with difficult situations if they arise.
- Eager to learn and open to attending relevant training and development opportunities.
- Strong communication skills; able to establish and maintain positive relationships.
