We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant ready to provide support to young children in a classroom environment spanning from KS1 to KS4. Your responsibilities will include assisting children aged 5-16 during working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The school is situated close to Leeds city centre. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Make learning fun and interactive
• Facilitate children's learning in both 1:1 and small groups
• Ability to share information and have professional communication with the class teacher.
• Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills when working with children.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and individual needs.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies for promoting positive behaviour.

Requirements:

• Experience and skills of working with pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and strategies to ensure learning is engaging and inclusive
• High expectations, commitment, and enthusiasm for both the personal and educational development of all pupils
• An Enhanced DBS check or ready to acquire one through Randstad.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• To safeguard children
• Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided).
