Job description

We are recruiting for a Deputy Director of Operations; this new role will support the team to deliver the right service at the right time and in the right way to all those who need us. You will have come from a clinical background and be experienced in managing projects to deliver successful outcomes ensuring quality systems are put in place to maximise effective and safe practice. An innovator who is passionate about the prevention of child sexual abuse, you will support the Director of Operations in ensuring the health and sustainability of LFF services whilst exploring new opportunities for LFF to make a difference to keep children safe.

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is dedicated solely to preventing child sexual abuse. We’re bold, we’re pioneering, we’re growing, and we want your help.

Since 1992 we’ve kept children safe by working with people who have harmed them or who might do so, to help them stop. We work with adults worried about their own sexual thoughts, feelings or behaviour towards children; adults worried about another adult or young person; young people themselves; and with protective adults and professionals.

Key attributes we are seeking include:

• Significant experience of the delivery and oversight of clinical work in the child sexual abuse prevention space
• Demonstrable track record of leading teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Proven ability to ensure LFF projects deliver for children
• Experience and expertise in securing and managing contracts
• Excellent staff management and supervision skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to form productive relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to problem solve and mobilise self and teams to respond to demand
• A clear vision of how quality is managed within an organisation
• Passion about the delivery of our vision of a world free from child sexual abuse Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
