Job description
Ref: 36328 As a Lead Software Developer, you have the chance to design technical solutions and provide software development and testing to make a real difference.
Your adherence to project processes and software development practices ensures that you deliver quality solutions. You support system test and integration activities, produce technical documentation, and generate and manage requirements, demonstrating your commitment to excellence. Leading a team of software developers, you plan, schedule, assign, and review work, liaising with multiple stakeholders, and reporting on progress. By coaching more junior staff in software development, you inspire the next generation. Your experience of the software development lifecycle and processes, tools, and desktop-based applications such as C#, C++, or Java, make you an asset to the team. Your knowledge of Windows or Linux O/S, object-oriented design/development, and coaching and team leadership experience will help you to achieve higher-level positions. With a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to additional benefits such as flexible working, an employee assistance program, Cycle2work, and employee discounts, you'll feel valued and rewarded. You may also be eligible for an annual incentive. Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons - men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry. Our clients work with us because they value a diverse workforce, and subscribe to our shared principle that all appointments are made on merit and that ability to perform the job will be the primary consideration.Job tags
