Job description
The position of a Workforce Planning Analyst / HR Analyst involves supporting a large-scale workforce planning project for a large organisation in Bournemouth, Dorset.
You will be supporting/working alongside key senior HR stakeholders to develop the strategic workforce planning for the medium and longer-term.
Using your advanced Excel skills and knowledge of HR and Workforce data to develop workforce planning tools, reporting, insights to help model and scenario pan workforce requirements to ensure organisational resilience and agility, and financial stability.
Responsibilities:
- Workforce Planning : You'll collaborate with HR and senior stakeholders to develop a strategic workforce plan. This includes analysing staffing levels, future needs, skills, and workforce analytics.
- Data Analysis : Utilise advanced Excel skills to analyse workforce data, trends, modelling and metrics. You'll create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to inform decision-making.
- Forecasting and Modelling : Develop workforce forecasts and plans in partnership with key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Experience : Previous experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or related roles HR roles. Experience of working as part of a large complex organisation with large HR people data sets.
- Advanced Excel Skills : Proficiency in creating complex spreadsheets, using formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Analytical Mindset : Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights and presentation of data - HR, Workforce, Skills.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations.
- Attention to Detail : Accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Adaptability : Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Offer
The role is offered on an initial temporary/interim contract for 3-6 months via Hays with scope for longer term.
It is based in Bournemouth with a requirement to be in office circa 2-3 days per week.
Full time is preferred but can be flexible depending on required hours, eg - 4 days per week.
